Coeur d’Alene Reportedly Has HIGHEST Rate of COVID-19 Infection of all 383 Metro Areas With Available Data
This is a pandemic of FAKE NEWS
After a year of mask mandates, lockdowns and social unrest across the United States, the city of Coeur d’Alene is seeing a major influx of out-of-state residents, who are bringing with them the same issues generally seen in major metropolitan areas such as Portland Oregon or New York City. Coeur d’Alene has quickly become America’s top real-estate market.
Masks, lockdowns and social distancing measures aren’t something you would expect to see in Coeur d’Alene. Although now that Coeur d’Alene has drawn the attention of the rest of the country for being an outlier, we are going to begin to hear a whole slew of justifications as to why our quiet mountain town will need them.
Newsbreak recently posted an article titled “COVID-19: Coeur d’Alene, ID Metro Area Among the Most Dangerous in America.” In it, they claim that “As of November 16, there were 19,096.5 confirmed cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 Coeur d'Alene residents, the 31st highest rate of all 383 metro areas with available data. For comparison, the U.S. has so far reported 14,487.5 cases per 100,000 Americans nationwide.”
Contrarily, you can also find many articles claiming that COVID rates and hospitalizations continue to decline throughout Idaho.
You cannot trust any of the news coming out of traditional outlets to be accurate or informative. While Coeur d’Alene reportedly has the highest rate of COVID out of all 383 metro areas tested, their cases “continue declining.”
Hospitals are getting money — LOTS OF MONEY — during this pandemic. Hospitals receive even more federal funds depending on how many COVID cases they report, as well as how many patients they have on ventilators.
Who can you trust?
