Democrat Statue Vandalized with “Beta Male” Graffiti in Coeur d’Alene — Idaho Antifa Call Event “Toxic”
What even is the point of this statue other than to agitate the local population?
A liberal protest statue in downtown Coeur d'Alene was vandalized with “BETA MALES” graffiti early Friday morning, sparking an investigation by local officials.
Idaho Antifa, who is generally known for vandalizing statues, is calling the vandalism of this particular statue “toxic.”
Coeur d'Alene Police says the city's Suffragette statue, located near 6th Street and Sherman Avenue, was hit with spray paint at about 3:50 a.m. Friday.
The statue’s erection was partially made possible by the controversial head of the arts commission, Jennifer Drake, who previously came under fire after a bar which she is co-owner of, Crown & Thistle, hosted a satanic group’s fundraiser event.
"The Suffragist," created by local artist Terry Lee, was dedicated to Coeur d’Alene on August 18, 2020 — and has since stood as a form of protest in the otherwise natural and serene backdrop of the downtown Coeur d’Alene mountains.
This isn’t the first time the Coeur d’Alene arts commission has sparked protest in the city.
In 2019, the city forced the removal of a local “art piece” which displayed the communist hammer & sickle, which at the time, was popularly used by the radical left-wing group Antifa during the riots which engulf the nation, leaving dozens dead and causing billions in damages.
Similarly, Jennifer Drake claimed to “stand in opposition” to the city, which in her words acted on a “knee-jerk” response when deciding to remove the disturbing display.
