There’s A New ‘Sherriff’ In Town: Greg McKenzie Elected NIC Chair - Liberals Completely Lose Their Minds
Look at me. I am the chairman now.
The battle for the soul of North Idaho College continues, and local Conservatives have struck a serious blow to the liberal elitist establishment.
For months, liberals have been fear mongering online that Todd Banducci is going to destroy the college if he is elected as chairman.
Instead, at last night’s board meeting, Banducci after being nominated and elected, in a surprise move, immediately renounced the chairmanship.
Instead, Banducci tapped Greg McKenzie, the young up-and-coming Conservative star, to take the helm, and steer the college away from destructive liberal policies, and provide a real education to NIC students.
Local liberals immediately began with their usual, childish attacks against our duly elected local representatives. One post from the FAKE Republican page alleged that Banducci couldn’t be chair “because at midnight he is turning into a werwolf,” calling Trustee McKenzie an “ASSet to the board.”[sp]
Another liberal activist immediately began fear mongering with the trumped up allegations that NIC would lose accreditation, again.
These people really can’t help themselves.
Trustee McKenzie stated that he is “honored and pleased for this opportunity to steward the college to fulfill its mission.” McKenzie continued,
“I would like to express my deep gratitude to my fellow trustee members for granting me the opportunity to serve as Board Chair and the community for electing us all to figure this out. This is a humbling opportunity and I am excited to represent North Idaho College for our community and make a positive impact at NIC. I commit to lead with competency and actively listen to our constituents. I have been critical of prior rubber-stamp boards, and I believe that constructive critique is still valid. We now have the unique opportunity to unite and progress toward a better college for all. It’s high time to move forward while demonstrating we are an engaged Board that incorporates teamwork and dedication. Doing this will allow us to fulfill the mission of NIC. This will help us all to again make North Idaho College a shining light within our community.”
Level headed conservatives in the community appear to be pleased and excited with this outcome, sharing their sentiments on social media.
One person who does not seem pleased, however is NIC’s President, Nick Swayne, who was recently installed by an appointed board, after Christie Wood’s dangerous power play last April.
President Swayne, has already started a power struggle with the board, refusing to accept the resignation of the college’s legal counsel, and refusing a direct order from the board, to sign the fee agreement of incoming counsel, Art Macomber.
This is a developing story, and we will release subsequent stories about the developing situation on campus, as our records requests are returned.
