Groomer Awards: North Idaho “Young Adult” Librarian Denise Neujahr Wins Award From American Library Association For Her LGBTQ+ Work In Post Falls Library
And the First Annual Millstone Award Goes To…
(Kootenai County, Idaho) — A young librarian from Rathdrum by the name of Denise Neujahr [unknown pronunciation (she/her)] is set to be awarded with the American Library Association’s Lemony Snicket Prize for Noble Librarians Faced with Adversity.
The prize is named after a book that became a creepy Jim Carey movie.
The author of the Lemony Snicket books, Daniel Handler (pictured below), has never been accused of sexually exploiting children, however according to the New Statesman, his books are “astonishingly obscene”.
Mr. Handler will be awarding the “Prize for Noble Librarians Faced with Adversity” to Ms. Neujahr (pictured below, Left).
Before getting this prestigious award from the American Library Association, Neujahr was awarded with the Athol Citizen of the Year award in 2019.
You see, Denise Neujahr is a Major player at the Community Library Network, even though her name isn’t listed anywhere on the website. Neujahr is CLN’s “Young Adult Librarian,” who not only has a say on what programs the library will offer, but also which books will be displayed on the 12-18 year old shelves. Many concerned parents in our area have been asking questions about books like Identical by Ellen Hopkins, an incest child-porn fantasy novel, or A Court of Silver Flames by Sara Maas, which features over 60 pages of hardcore pornography, described in lurid detail… But so far? Nothing of substance.
CLN Trustees Judy Meyer and Regina McCrea have ignored concerned parents’ pleas for help, for almost 2 years now, at first denying the existence of these books, then admitting they were present but only a fraction of the book was inappropriate.
Now Liberal Trustees Meyer and McCrea are “trying” to create “age specific” library cards that will “prevent” 8 year olds from checking out 12 year old books. Even if this happens, it does nothing to stop the 12 year olds from having unfettered access to the hardcore pornography that’s currently in the 12-year-old section.
Neujahr could have removed the books. But she didn’t. Why? Because she has an agenda. The LGBTQ+ Agenda.
The press release congratulating Neujahr on her prize uses the term “LGBTQ+” no less than 5 times. What does that have to do with books? Or libraries? Who made this a “LGBTQ+” issue? If you look at the publicly available meetings, you’ll see that parents aren’t complaining about “Gays” at these board meetings. They’re complaining about violent, explicit, graphic, hardcore pornography inside the books in the “Young Adult” section (ages 12-18).
The ALA in their release said:
“There has been no shortage of high-profile challenges to serving LGBTQ+ teens in libraries across the United States. As a Young Adult Librarian for the Community Library Network, Denise has spent her career providing a supportive environment for young adults. In 2019, she implemented the Rainbow Squad program to provide a safe space for an increasing number of young adults who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, and their allies, to interact with each other, engage in activities, and exist in a space free from fear of being “othered” by individuals who have proven to be unkind to people identifying at LGBTQ+. This program continued virtually throughout the pandemic.”
Thank you American Library Association! The Idaho Tribune was previously unaware of this individual and her generous contribution to the FILTH that is in our libraries. We were also unaware that she allegedly started the questionable “no parents allowed” LGBTQ+ Meetups hosted at the library for 11-18 year olds, otherwise known as the “Rainbow Squad.” Thanks for the tip!
The Rainbow Squad group supported the Predators Pride In The Park debacle, alongside the North Idaho Pride Alliance, Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations, HREI, Western States Center, Antifa, and The Satanic Temple of Idaho. Although the Satanic Temple backed out of the event (officially) after a public outcry, their representatives urged people to “keep their satanism on the down low.”
Now here’s where things get interesting: In 2021 there were some protests at the Post Falls Library during a “Rainbow Squad” gathering. Here’s how the Coeur d’Alene Press described the incident in yesterday’s article:
“Starting in December 2021, the Squad came under verbal assault from a local minister and like-minded citizens who protested the gatherings at the library.”
The press went on to call the citizens “ignorant” because, according to them, tax-payer funds were not used to pay “the small bill for snacks at Rainbow Squad gatherings.” As if that was why people were protesting.
This is what is commonly referred to as “Fiscal Conservatism.” This is where so-called “conservatives” and “Republicans” “save” tax-payers, money. They get private foundations to subsidize their drag shows at the Parks and in the Libraries instead of using tax dollars to do it.
“WHY ARE YOU MAD? They are SAAAAVING you money!!!”
The American Library Association described the situation a little differently:
“In June of 2022, Denise was targeted by the “Panhandle Patriots,” a militia-oriented motorcycle club based in northern [sic] Idaho.”
This distortion of reality is brought to you by Brad Little’s new Press Secretary, Madison Hardy, the former CDA Press reporter that called angry parents who were locked out of a CDA School Board meeting a “Mob.”
Hardy’s reporting on the concerned parents of Coeur d’Alene led to the National School Board Association sending a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, requesting that he label these parents as dangerous “Domestic Terrorists.” Now it looks like her “journalism” got this Librarian an award! Wow!
Hardy said that she stands by her reporting, and also claimed that (former) editor Mike Patrick would frequently change her headlines with the help of Maureen Dolan.
Towards the end of his career, Former Editor Mike Patrick began swearing at citizens in public meetings, and seemed to lose his grip on reality after pledging to flee the country if Donald Trump won re-election in 2020. Patrick was also frequently overtaken with fits of rage, even taking his anger out by screaming at his Staff. He retired in disgrace not long after and moved to Florida after pledging to flee the country if Donald Trump won Re-Election in 2020.

And now, back to the Libraries:
The ALA continued lavishing praise on Denise in their press release, saying that in the face of this “militia-oriented motorcycle club,”
“Denise was undeterred. She persevered through protests, threats, and armed disruptions from individuals in the community who were looking to challenge the safe space she worked so hard to create. Working with law enforcement and library administration, Denise made sure these young adults were protected.”
“Protected” from people who want to remove hardcore pornography and traumatizing materials from the 12 year old section of the library. It’s beyond parody.
The Press knew that they couldn’t get away with the gross mischaracterization of the incident the way the ALA did. The Press did, however, take the opportunity to give us a nice little lecture saying, “what makes communities strong — inclusiveness and respect for all, including those who don’t live their lives as others might prescribe.”
Oh, you mean the “inclusiveness and respect for all” that the CDA Press shows to fire-alarm pullers? Or perhaps the “inclusiveness and respect” that was shown when the Press refused to run Monka Klennart’s letters warning Coeur d’Alene parents that their daughters might not be safe in the bathrooms at school.
Or perhaps they meant the more “hardcore” forms of “inclusiveness and respect” the Christie Wood, the Democrats, and fake Republican Dan Gookin were caught planning to use against their political enemies, like Doxxing and Boycotts.
Perhaps it something more like the “respect” that was given to Vicki Weaver and her son Sammy, up on Ruby Ridge 30 years ago.
“Human Rights.” Yeah, right.
Denise Neujahr will be presented with the 2023 Lemony Snicket Prize for Noble Librarians Faced with Adversity at the American Library Association’s annual conference, where the Idaho’s own Emily Drabinsky, a self-described “Marxist Lesbian” Librarian will become president. Rest assured, Drabinski’s #1 goal is to “Queer the Libraries.”
This is why the upcoming May 16 election is so incredibly important: Kootenai County must elect TWO Conservative trustees, so they can set better policies and remove the hardcore porn from the libraries and stop the state-sponsored sexualization of our children.
At the past CLN board meeting, two concerned Conservative citizens boldly announced their candidacy for office: Tim Plass and Tom Hanley.
