Hundreds Attend Bonneville Republican Lincoln Day Celebration with Kyle Rittenhouse & Dr. James Lindsay — Thousands Raised For GOP

(Idaho Falls - Press Release) The Bonneville County Republican Party wishes to express gratitude to the local community for participating in yet another remarkably successful Lincoln Day Celebration in Bonneville County.

The event, which was hosted by the Bonneville County Republican Central Committee, was emceed by popular local radio show hosts Neal Larson and Julie Mason of Newstalk 107.9 and was attended by nearly 500 individuals who packed the venue. Attendees included numerous respected community leaders, business owners, and elected officials of varying levels of government, including members of the Idaho Legislature, a County Sheriff, a County Prosecutor, and more. Party members, volunteers, and elected party leaders from across the state were also in attendance, including IDGOP Chairwoman, Dorothy Moon. There was even a direct descendant of Abraham Lincoln himself in attendance!

Renowned individuals Dr. James Lindsay and Kyle Rittenhouse both spoke at the event and received extended standing ovations from those in attendance. Rittenhouse, who was forced to defend himself against a mob of violent and armed rioters who chased him down and attacked him during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots, spoke of his experience since showing in court that his actions were a clear case of self-defense and subsequently being acquitted of all criminal charges.

Rittenhouse expressed his determination to tell his story and use his platform to advocate for the Second Amendment, despite the continued lies, ridicule, and threats focused on him from leftist media, pundits, politicians, and thugs. Dr. Lindsay, who is noted for authoring 6 books spanning various subjects and describes himself as a “professional troublemaker”, spoke extensively on critical race theory and other tactics the radical left is using in attempts to leverage the education system to pursue its communistic goals.

Through the support of over 50 local businesses and individual sponsors, over 100 items were donated for auction, raising thousands of dollars in support of the conservative principles found in the Idaho Republican Party Platform. Some of these funds raised will also go to support local first responders. It is encouraging to see that so many local donors and participants
enthusiastically supported these efforts.

Despite vitriolic and profane comments from left-wing “keyboard warriors” on social media in the days leading up to the event, the overwhelming support shown by the hundreds of enthusiastic patriots in attendance proved that the people of Bonneville County and Idaho faithfully uphold the Constitution, proudly cherish the First and Second Amendments to the Constitution, and actively support the conservative principles found in the Idaho Republican Party Platform.
