The State of Idaho has Just Launched an “Election Misinformation Reporting” Tool Designed to Pressure Social Media Companies to Ban Users Posts
Thought Crime Comes to Idaho
The state of Idaho has officially launchd a “Election Misinformation Reporting” tool online, imploring Idaho voters to submit examples of misinformation to help Idaho officials “investigate and work with social media platforms and other partners to get it addressed.”
It appears that the state of Idaho is cracking down on questioning election processes, such as the way votes are counted, to the technology used in counting them.
In asking users to report misinformation, the state of Idaho appears to also be encouraging users to submit any information that they view as “not their truth.”
For instance: The governor of Idaho, Brad Little, is campaigning on the false claim that he never locked down Idaho or imposed mandates during the COVID scare.
These claims are verifiably false, and numerous individuals who have been arrested or cited during Little’s lockdown can personally testify to that fact.
Do not hold your breath on this kind of misinformation being reprimanded.
