German Twitter User Creates “Hit List” of 48,000 Verified Twitter Blue Users — Users Who Purchased the $8 Checkmark Sorted by How Much he Hates You

The Germans are once again making lists…

A German Twitter user has compiled a list of over 48,000 individuals who purchased the $8 verification blue checkmark on Twitter. The list of Twitter blue users, he says, is sorted according to “how absolutely fucking garbage they are.”

This comes just days after it was revealed that thousands of threats against the life of Elon Musk have remained on Twitter. These threats are explicit and detailed.

According to the German publication, FrieWelt, Travis Brown conducted his activities with funds from the German Federal Ministry of Research, keeping enemy lists of influential conservative Twitter accounts, and has “doxxed a Twitter user who now has to go into hiding for fear of her life.”

Cyberstalking and doxxing are criminal offenses in Germany. And according to journalists on the ground, the research ministry has remained silent on the matter.

Other Twitter users who are sour about having to share their verified status with those who may have opposing views than they do are attempting to find ways to filter out verified users who purchased Twitter blue. They are calling these users verification cross-pollination.

As we had previously explored, twitter arbitrarily handed out verification blue checkmarks, and as a result, many verified users have developed an inflated sense of worth. Psychologically, the blue checkmark symbolized vanity. As previously revealed, this symbol of status was sold by Twitter staff for upwards of $15,000 — now, vanity is on sale for $8 — and it really hurts some of these folk.
