Moscow Idaho: 4 University of Idaho Students Found Dead in Apparent Homicide — Unconfirmed Reports Suggest Mass-Stabbing Incident — “They we're all Stabbed”

Police officers responding to a call about an unconscious individual on King Rd in Moscow Idaho discovered 4 deceased students in what officers believe to be a homicide. No suspects have been named and the investigation is ongoing.

Multiple sources close to individuals involved, are reporting the incident to be a mass-stabbing event involving students at the university. The post reads: “They were all stabbed. Possibly 1 guy, 3 girls from the Greek life.”

The victims of the incident have been named as Ethan Chapin, 20, Conway, WA, Madison Mogen, 21, Coeur d’Alene, ID, Xana Kernodle, 20, Avondale, AZ, and Kaylee GonCalves, 21, Rathdrum, ID.

The incident took place at an off-campus housing apartment complex. Officers responding to the incident have begun asking surrounding residents for information regarding the event.

There are multiple reports of a mass-stabbing incident, though, considering the sensitivity of the incident we are choosing to leave certain details out of this report.

Concerned family members are requesting the college cancel classes until after the holiday break. Currently, University of Idaho is set to continue classes on Tuesday, November 14.
