Watchmen Ministries Release Voter Guides For Kootenai, Boundary, Bonner and Shoshone Counties — Be An Informed Voter And Get To Know The Candidates

Watchmen Ministry North Idaho has released their voter guide for the upcoming May 16th elections for Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai and Shoshone Counties. According to their website “Watchmen Ministry serves to educate, equip, engage, and encourage the church to stand for righteousness in the public square.”

By visiting the Watchmen Ministry website, you can read responses given by candidates for office, and get to know their background, philosophies, and stances on the issues that matter here in North Idaho.

Kootenai County Voter Guides

As a non-profit ministry, Watchmen Ministry cannot endorse any candidate for office, but it is VERY informative to see exactly which candidates responded to the Watchmen Questionnaire, and which ones didn’t.

Take, for example, the upcoming Community Library Network trustee elections here in Kootenai County. There are 4 people running for 2 trustee seats; the incumbents Judy Meyer and Regina McCrea, and their challengers Tim Plass and Tom Hanley.

Both Meyer and McCrea did not take the time to respond to the Watchmen questionnaire, and that alone tells us a lot. They didn’t even bother to take the time to respond to this Christian Ministry, even though North Idaho is overwhelmingly Christian.

These voter guides are a fantastic way to drill down into the thoughts and ideas of each candidate running for office in our area, and when used in conjunction with a Republican Sample Ballot like the one released by the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee, it can be a powerful way to fact-check and verify that the rated & vetted candidates who have been recommended by local Republicans really are the best people for the job.

We have all seen how far-left candidates have lied to voters about being “conservative” over the past several elections, and the Watchmen Ministry voter guide is a great way to double check before you hit the polls.

Last November, a far-left PAC put up a misleading billboard, falsely identifying the liberal candidates as “conservative.”
