Coeur d’Alene City Council member, Dan Gookin, reportedly told pastor Paul Van Noy that Christian prayer before town meetings was “3 minutes of waste time.”

This comes just after the Coeur d’Alene City Council voted to open up town hall meetings to all “faiths” — including the Satanic Temple — in order to uphold what some council members called ‘inclusive’ government practices.

As we previously reported, the Democrat endorsed Coeur d’Alene mayor, Jim Hammond, said other cities have been sued by satanists for not allowing them to speak before meetings, adding that “It’s possible we [Coeur d’Alene] could end up having to dispense with it [the word of God] all together,”
